Workshops in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang mobilize local road safety agents
A series of workshops being held in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang in November and December are mobilizing local agents who play a role in road traffic safety. The workshops aim to guide them in developing an action plan to improve the child motorcycle helmet use situation in their cities, and are part of the first phase of our national campaign entitled "Children also need a helmet". The workshops are being led by high ranking city officials and road safety specialists, which provides attendees with factual information and reinforces the government's commitment to this campaign at the local, city level.
The first workshop took place in Hanoi on November 12th and was attended by around 70 people. Road safety specialists and authorities equipped parents and teachers with knowledge about how best to protect their children and students. This workshop's primary objective is to encouraging these agents to be role models and promote responsible behaviors.
Visit this webpage later this month for updates about our workshops in Ho Chi Minh City and Danang.
